Gucci: Lost In The Desert



Task:
For this class, Digital Presentation Techniques, we were tasked with creating a Mock-Ad for a fashion brand of our choice. After copywriting three concepts, we had to organize and manage a team of creative collaborators to bring the advertisement to life. (FASM 210, Fall 2020)

Concept:
“Gucci Gothic: Lost in the Desert” is a continuation of Gucci’s successful past campaign of the same namesake, “Gucci Gothic.” Gucci Gothic reimagined the story of Noah’s Ark. This new campaign pushes that biblical narrative further, reinterpreting the story of the Israelites wandering in the Desert into a high-fashion campaign.
Isaiah 41:8
“I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and parched ground into springs.”
